The NCAA Cross-Country Championship will be hosted Saturday at Lavern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. The men’s championship race is a 10,000-meter run.
Texas Tech senior runner Kennedy Kithuka, the 2012 NCAA Cross-Country Champion, is seeking back-to-back titles.
Kithuka has not lost a race during his career at Tech, with a streak of 14-straight victories.
During the 2013 season, he won by an average margin of 36 seconds, according to a news release.
